Aberdeen-based charity, All Life Chances, has appointed Leanne McIntosh as its new fundraising manager, a newly created role aimed at enhancing the organisation’s impact.
Leanne joins All Life Chances from Charlie House, where she led the grants and trusts team. Before that, she spent six years as business development manager at Aberdeen Foyer and another six years prior to that as a fundraising executive with NSPCC. Her extensive experience in Aberdeen’s third sector makes her a key asset in her new role.
Launched in late 2024, All Life Chances focuses on supporting Aberdeen’s Priority Neighbourhoods by leveraging the collective skills and networks of the local business community. The charity collaborates with community centres, charities, and projects in the city’s most deprived areas, with a specific focus on supporting children, young people, and their families.
The organisation works closely with the private sector to secure financial support while also encouraging businesses to contribute staff time and specialist expertise to community projects.
Commenting on Leanne’s appointment, Morven Mackenzie, Head of Strategy at All Life Chances, said:
“With Leanne on board, we can increase the number of projects we are supporting across the city’s priority neighbourhoods.
“She has a huge amount of experience working in Aberdeen’s third sector, and her specialist knowledge of trusts and foundations will be of huge value to the work that we do.
“All Life Chances is growing, and Leanne’s appointment allows us to expand our reach. Her expertise means we can develop more corporate partnerships, focus on fundraising events, and strengthen connections with individual donors.”
Leanne holds a BA Hons in Corporate Communications and brings valuable expertise to her new role, further strengthening All Life Chances’ mission to drive positive change in Aberdeen’s communities.
